Apasmara

Apasmara (epilepsy) is defined by Acharya Charaka as Apagama (deterioration) of Smriti (retention) associated with Bibhatsa Chesta (seizures) due to derangement of Dhi and Sattva .The main features of Apasmara are impairment in memory or awareness.
